....Work in Progress
I was thrilled with the way June dressed the bed and wanted to display it to its best advantage which is why I repeated the fabric colour on the walls with gold trim. It highlights the delicate colour and gilding on the furniture and sets it off like a jewel. I wanted a gilded effect which was feminine but less ornate than that used in the Blue Drawing Room.

The room is by no means finished but at least these early photos will give you some idea of what is to come.

The wee bebe on the bed is Miss Amabel's god-daughter, created by Carol Griffith. She is a gorgeous wee moppet and looked so cute on the bed that I left her there when we took the photos:)

Versailles Bed
This is the beautiful bespaq bed I brought especially for my new dollhouse. It reminds me of the sleeping princess's bed in the fairytale - but this bed does not have a pea under the mattress:)

It was dressed by June Clinkshanks

I was lucky enough to find brushes and combs whose detailing match the delicate painting on Miss Amabel's dresser. Even the teeny tiny tissue box matches:) Simply gorgeous!!

I adore Bespaq furniture. I particularly like the delicate detailing on the handpainted pieces such as the armoire and chair. Couldn't imagine living with such delicate works of art in 'real life' but perfect for Miss Amabel!!
